Admission Procedure at IIPR

How to apply for Undergraduate (UG) Courses:

1) Application Form Submission:

Application forms could be bought in person from college office or can be downloaded from www.iipr.in

Eligible students can submit the duly filled in Application Forms along with photocopies of supporting documents and a DD for Rs.750/- drawn in favour of 'Indian Institute of Psychology and Research'

The Application Forms can be submitted in person to the 'Office of Admissions' or can be sent by post or courier service to the address- Office of Admissions, Indian Institute of Psychology and Research(IIPR), #85, St. Anthony's Friary Church Compound, Hosur Road, Bangalore- 560095)

Online Interview facility is available for long distance candidates over Skype Video calling facility. The same can be availed by submitting the DD for Rs.2500/- along with the application form.

NRI/Foreign students can submit the duly filled in Application Forms for Campus/Online Interview along with photocopies of supporting documents and a DD for Rs.2500/- drawn in favour of 'Indian Institute of Psychology and Research'

2) Personal Interview:

Receipt of Applications will be acknowledged by email to the candidate/parent.

After scrutinizing the applications, applicants meeting the eligibility criteria will be called for Personal Interview. The office of admissions will correspond with the candidate in this regard.

Personal Interview is used to assess the candidate's Subject Knowledge, Aptitude, Communication skills, Attitude and Overall Suitability to the course.

All original documents need to be produced for verification at the time of Personal Interview

3) Admission:

Candidates selected for admission will be intimated within 24 hours after the personal interview with further guidelines and Fee Structure for completing the admission procedure.

Selected candidates have to pay the stipulated fee within 4 working days and submit all the original documents to confirm the admission.

Fee Challan and acknowledgement of document submission will be issued by the office on completion of the Admission process.

All admissions are subject to approval from Bangalore University (BU).

How to apply for PG Courses (Direct Admission Mode):

1) Application Form Submission:

Application forms could be bought in person from college office or can be downloaded from www.iipr.in

Eligible students can submit the duly filled in Application Forms along with photocopies of supporting documents and a DD for Rs.1500/- drawn in favour of 'Indian Institute of Psychology and Research'

The Application Forms can be submitted in person to the 'Office of Admissions' or can be sent by post or courier service to the address- Office of Admissions, Indian Institute of Psychology and Research(IIPR), #85, St. Anthony's Friary Church Compound, Hosur Road, Bangalore- 560095)

NRI/Foreign students can submit the duly filled in Application Forms for Campus/Online Interview along with photocopies of supporting documents and a DD for Rs.4000/- drawn in favour of 'Indian Institute of Psychology and Research'




2) Entrance Exam & Personal Interview:

Receipt of Applications will be acknowledged by email to the candidate/parent.

After scrutinizing the applications, applicants meeting the eligibility criterion will be called for Entrance Exam and Personal Interview. The office of admissions will correspond with the candidate in this regard.

Entrance exam will be objective type and will cover the papers that are generally part of all undergraduate courses- General Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Industrial Psychology, Health Psychology and Research Methods and Statistics in Psychology.

Personal Interview is used for assessing the candidate's Subject Knowledge, Aptitude, Communication skills, Attitude and Overall Suitability to the course.

Waitlisted candidates will get admission if any seat falls vacant only. The update in this regard will be given by June.

It is mandatory to mention the details of the student while making the online transfer.

Application forms are available at the office of admissions at IIPR campus or the can be downloaded in PDF format from the college website. The required details should be completely filled up by the candidate in clear and bold letters.

A Demand Draft(DD) for INR 1500/- for postgraduate programmes and INR 750/- for undergraduate programmes should be attached, drawn in favour of "Indian Institute of Psychology and Research" payable at "Bangalore". Name of the Applicant and Course Applied for should be written behind the DD. .

Candidates have to attach photocopies of the marks cards/provisional marks statement of the qualifying examinations passed.

Application forms along with supporting documents can be sent by Registered Post / Courier Service to the Office of Admissions, IIPR or may be submitted directly (In-Person) between 10 AM and 5 PM on all working days at the office of admissions, IIPR.

Documents to be enclosed along with the application form--Copies of Marks sheets of the qualifying examinations-Kindly do not send any original marks cards.

If the Application is incomplete or incorrect, the college has the right to reject it.

The institution is not responsible for any application reaching after the stipulated date /time and such applications will not be processed.

The decision of the Admission Committee is final and binding in all matters related to admission process and selection.
