Guest Lecture on ?Human Development Index and the Economic Theories involving Women in Development of the Country?

A guest lecture was organized on the topic ?Human Development Index and the Economic Theories involving Women in Development of the Country? by Professor Seshadri, adjunct faculty of Economics in IIPR. He was formerly professor Development Economics in Christ University and he did his research on Economics law and published more than six research paper journals
The guest lecture dealt with women development and gender development, pointing out the difference between growth and development from an economic perspective. There was an interactive session between the students and the Guest lecturer as he provided more information on women?s participation in the past and current economic trends and the changes brought by them.
