Industrial Visit to Namdhari Seeds:

The undergraduate students of IIPR visited Namdhari Seed Corporation which was founded in 1985. The students had good interactions with the workers of the industries and were made aware that Namdhari Seeds is a market leader in tomato and watermelon; they are gaining popularity with more than 500 hybrids and varieties in 20 different crops worldwide. Their R&D department endeavours to develop suitable hybrids for a multitude of market requirements, supporting the demand and supply for agricultural need which is an important part of Indian economy. This provided our student insight of marketing importance and economics.
