Course Description
The Post Graduate Diploma program in Psychological Counseling is a one-year full-time program that provides students with the right blend of theoretical knowledge along with laboratory practical and field experience. This prepares them to work as counselors. The course provides students with the required qualification and skills to work as Psychological counselors. The Master's program grounds students in theory, research, and practice, providing them with a systemic and holistic approach to understanding human behavior.
Course Duration
The Post Graduate Diploma program is spread across 1 year (over two semesters). Each semester is for a period of about four months.
Eligibility
A graduate of Bangalore University or any other recognized University in India having studied any one of the following optional subjects namely Psychology / Sociology / Social Work / Home Science / Human Resource Development (management) or B.Ed. or a graduate in any discipline of Rehabilitation Science - a Doctor (from any medical faculty such as Allopathy, Ayurveda, Unani), paramedical, Rehabilitation Nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist, Audiologist, with 50% marks in aggregate (including languages)
Fee structure:
Tuition Fee Rs. 1,00,000/- per year
Tuition Fee Rs. 1,25,000/- per year for NRI students
*Two Semesters per academic year.
