The Indian Institute of Psychology and Research (IIPR), Bangalore, has been under the management of the Franciscan Fathers of the Order of Friars Minor (OFM) since 2014. IIPR functions as a unit of Sarvodaya Seva Sangha (SSS), a non-profit charitable society established in Bengaluru in 1967. With a rich legacy of educational and social service initiatives, SSS has played a significant role in promoting inclusive development and empowering communities across India through various institutions, programmes, and outreach initiatives.

The Order of Friars Minor (OFM), commonly known as the Franciscans, is a Roman Catholic religious order founded by Saint Francis of Assisi. Inspired by the values of simplicity, compassion, service, and human dignity, the Franciscans have made significant contributions to education, healthcare, social welfare, and community development across the world.
